Maruti Suzuki adds new variants to Ertiga and Alto 800

Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has added new variants to the Ertiga and Alto 800 lineup.
Ertiga now comes with a CNG variant named as Ertiga Green. This variant will be available in LXi and VXi variants. The CNG system is the factory fitted one under various checks on the assembly line manufacturing process. It comes with a mileage of 22.80 Km/Kg. This is the sixth Maruti Suzuki vehicle fitted with factory fitted CNG system following Alto, Wagon R, Eeco, SX4 and Estilo.
Ertiga Green is available in states with CNG infrastructure such as Delhi NCR, Gujarat, Parts of Maharashtra like Mumbai and Pune, some parts of Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. Ertiga Green LXi is priced at INR 6.52Lakhs and Ertiga Green VXi is priced at 7.30Lakhs. (All prices are ex-showroom Delhi)
Mr Manohar Bhat, Vice President (Marketing), Maruti Suzuki on this occasion said: “As a market leader we are concerned about the environment. We continuously work to offer products that are high on fuel efficiency and low on overall cost of ownership. Ertiga Green, with a factory fitted CNG system, is another step of Maruti Suzuki to meet today’s need of our customers. With the Ertiga Green our customers will be able to enjoy lower running costs and also take advantage of Maruti Suzuki’s vast service network across the country.”
Maruti Suzuki also added a new top end trim to its hot selling model Alto 800 which now comes with central locking, door side mouldings, full wheel covers, an integrated stereo with USB and four speakers, left wing mirror, driver side airbag and rear spoiler. Alto 800 is  now priced at INR 3,17,080 (ex-showrrom Delhi)
