TVS has launched its popular scooter, Wego with a new variant having disc brake at the front, making the scooter much more competitive. Wego with disc brake was already under production, but only for export to the international market.
The new variant comes with a 220mm disc brake unit, while the rear brake unit is the same old 130mm drum unit available in the standard variant. Wego has also many exciting features which adds to the competition.
The new Wego comes with a sensitive telescopic suspension, externally located fuel tank lid for more convenience during refueling, alloy wheels, durable metal body and a powerful 110cc engine with variomatic transmission. Another unique feature of the new TVS Wego is the body balance technology which combines ergonomic design with a unique system to ensure high manoeuvrability and stability under various road conditions.
The new Wego offers six colour options of sporty white, volcano red, cappuccino brown, electric green, mercury grey and midnight black. The price tag of the new Wego is also very competitive at around Rs 50,000. Currently only Honda Aviator comes with a disc brake which is priced at Rs.56000.
