Volvo cars India has launched its much awaited V40 Cross Country in India. This launch will make Volvo’s car line up in India to five. V40 will compete with the recently launched Mercedes A-Class and compact luxury SUV’s like BMW X1 and Audi Q3.
V40 is equipped with 2.0Litre common rail turbo diesel engine which produces 148bhp and 35.7kgm torque. It can reach 0-100kmph in 8.68sec. Fuel economy for the V40 Cross Country is claimed at 16.81Kmpl.
By the name Volvo everyone knows that they are safe, which is built in quality of all Volvo cars. V40 also keeps this promise in it. Some of the main safety features in V40 includes SIPS airbags, knee airbags, inflatable curtain airbags, start-stop technology, front seats with whiplash protection etc.
V40 Cross Country is equipped with panoramic sunroof, AC with clean air filter technology, cruise control, rear parking camera, front and rear parking sensors and leather seating surface with heated and power front seats with memory settings for driver.
Volvo V40 Cross Country is available in misty blue, passion red, raw copper and silver metallic colour. Interior comes in three different shade combinations of charcoal black, light brown and charcoal black with hazel brown.
Volvo V40 Cross Country is priced at INR 28.5Lakhs (Ex-showroom New Delhi), which makes it a tough competition with the above mentioned competitors with lots of features.
