Neelakasham Pachakkadal Chuvanna Bhoomi is directed by Sameer Thair after Chappa Kurishu and stars Dulqar Salman, Sunny Wayne in the lead roles. The movie is written by Hahir Mohamed, camera Gireesh Gangadharan while music is done by Rex Vijayan. The 'road movie' is first Malayalam film of its kind and had high hopes on it, especially with the Dulqar-Sunny combination coming together after Second Show.
The duo are on an adventure Bullet ride from Kerala to Nagaland. The film is shot at real locations in seven Indian states - Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, West Bengal, Nagaland and Sikkim. On the way they meet people of different cultures and travel through beautiful places. Finally they reach their destination surpassing all the obstacles to find Dulqar's love.
The bikers are Kasi and Suni played by Dulqar Salman and Sunny Wayne respectively. Manipoori actress Surja Bala plays the lady lead as Assi who comes to Kerala for her studies. Meanwhile, Bengali actress Ena Saha plays Sunny Wayne's love interest.
More about the story is unfolded when Suni (Sunny Wayne) narrates about their past to his love. The Dulqar Salman - Sunny Wayne combination is impressive while Surja Bala has also done well in her role.
Neelakasham Pachakkadal Chuvanna Bhoomi is a technical marvel with North East's picturesque landscape shot in perfection. The back ground score gives some energy to the movie while the songs have already in the hit chart. The movie will cheer the youths who love to go on a long adventure bike trip. However, the movie is lagging at places and has unwanted scenes that doesn't have any connection to the movie.
You may like the movie for brilliant technical work and the gleeful bike trip to the North East. Kudos to the young director for taking up the challenge and shooting the movie in North East amid security concerns. Otherwise, Neelakasham Pachakkadal Chuvanna Bhoomi fails to entertain the audience in other aspects.
