Sindhu settles with the bronze medal in WBC

India's rising shuttler PV Sindhu settled with bronze medal in World Badminton Championship. The 12th seed Indian shuttler, who played her maiden world championship, was trounced by world number three Thailand shuttler Ratchanok Intanon in just 35 minutes (21-10, 21-3) in the semi final match.
 
Ratchanok is the first Thailand shuttler to enter world championship final. Ratchanok will now take on world number one Chinese Li Xuerui.
 
PV Sindhu has already marked history by winning bronze medal in world championship. She is the first Indian women shuttler to win a medal in singles. 
 
Prakesh Padukone in 1983 and later Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponappa in womens doubles in 2011 are the only ones who won medals in WBC.
