Canvas Music A88 now in stores at INR 8,499 with free JBL Headphones

Indian mobile phone maker Micromax has launched a music phone under the Canvas series  called ‘Canvas Music A88’ at INR 8,499. As the name suggests, this device is pre-loaded with entertainment and users can download around 3 Lakh songs from Mlive free of cost. 

The Canvas Music A88 comes with free JBL Tempo headphones and the device has been made available in stores from today. The Canvas Music has a 4.5-inch TFT display with 854x480 pixel resolution and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) operating system. 
The phone comes with 1GHz dual-core processor paired with 512 MB of RAM. The Canvas Music A88 offers 4GB NAND flash memory in which, 1.93 GB can be accessed by the user. The device supports MicroSD card up to 32 GB. 
The 1,800mAh battery offers a talk time of up to 5 hours. A 5 megapixel camera with LED flash is fixed at the rear of the phone along with a VGA unit  at the front allowing users to make video calls.
"Canvas Music A88 coupled with JBL headset and unlimited songs download via MLive! Application serves as a perfect offering to the youth echoing our vision of providing a fulfilling entertainment experience to all the music and multimedia lovers,” said Ajay Sharma, country head, smartphone division, Micromax at the time of launch.
"We have created an entire music ecosystem by powering the Smartphone with a JBL headset and also giving the end consumers access to download unlimited music via MLive!" Shubhodip Pal, CMO, Micromax said.
