Facebook leaking mobile numbers through android application

According to reports from Symnatec ltd, the producers of the Norton Antivirus, Facebook, the largest social networking site, is leaking mobile numbers of users through an android application. 

 
When the user installs this application in the phone, the numbers saved in the mobile will be automatically sent to Facebook servers. Even the user doesn’t have to sign in to Facebook, but when they just open the Facebook application, the numbers will be leaked. 
 
It is said that more than 1000,000,000 users are using this application.
