Nokia unveiled another addition to their Windows smartphone line up - Nokia Lumia 625, a low cost smart phone with 4.7 inches screen. The Lumia 625 will be available in stores by third quarter of this year at an excepted price of INR 17,305. The Lumia 625 runs on Windows Phone 8 Operating system.
The Nokia Lumia 625, which offers wide screen experience to users, comes with a 4.7 inch display - 221 pixels per inch. The Lumia 625 "offers a larger view of everything that's important to you," Nokia says. Users can easily view the display in direct sunlight while the sensitive touch screen helps to operate the device even with gloves or with their nails.
The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor paired with 512 MB RAM. The Lumia 625 offers 8 GB inbuilt storage while external memory can be expanded upto 64 GB via Micro SD card. The Lumia 625 sports a 5 Mega Pixel rear facing camera with auto focus and LED flash; a front facing VGA camera is also available. Alike other Lumia phones, the 625 comes in different colors including orange, yellow, bright green, white, and black via changeable shells.
"The interchangeable shells are constructed of a single piece of translucent polycarbonate, layered with an inner color designed to amplify and bring to life your final color choice; orange, bright green or yellow," Nokia said. The company boasts that "the result gives richness to the colors, similar to the Nokia Lumia 620."
