LG Optimus G Pro Launched in India at INR 42,500

Korean electronics giant LG added another flagship smartphone ‘Optimius G Pro’ to their Optimus family in India aiming to increase their market share in the smartphone segment to 10 percent. By launching Optimus G Pro, LG entered the high-end smartphone segment priced above INR 40,000 targeting other competitors like BlackBerry, Samsung, Sony and Apple's iPhone. The LG Optimus G Pro comes with a price tag of INR 42,500.

This flagship device comes with a 5.5 inch full HD IPS display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. The Optimus Pro gets a 13 MP back camera with LED flash while a 2.1 MP full HD camera is included in the front panel. The phone offers dual recording feature - users can record videos using both cameras at the same time.
The LG Optimus G Pro is powered by a 1.7GHz Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor paired with 2 GB of RAM. The device runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system and comes with 32 GB built in memory along with a microSD card support.
The device also features an IR sensor that allows users to control their electronic devices like TVs, set up boxes, ACs etc. Alike the Optimus G, this device also comes with a QuadBand earphone. However the wireless charging is missing in Optimus G Pro.
