It helps in increasing good cholesterol- There are two type of cholesterol: high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL). Increased levels of HDL helps in boosting cardiovascular health. A component called medium chain triglycerides (MCT) is present in coconut oil that helps in increasing good cholesterol levels.
