Bajaj Qute Quadricycle to be Sold in Kerala and The Northeast
Bajaj Qute Quadricycle Booking Started
Bajaj Qute quadricycle will be finally sold in India, starting next month. Initially, the Qute will be sold through select dealerships in Kerala and Northeast India. Quadricycles have been classified as a new vehicle category by the Supreme Court.
According to reports, the Bajaj Qute can only be used as commercial vechile. Bookings for the Qute have already started.
Bajaj Auto President (Finance) Kevin D’sa stated that, “Permission of the Qute have come through and we will start (it) in the next few days. Technically, Kerala is allowed to retail it. So, the initial plan is to send out 35-40 vehicles to all the dealerships, so that the registration process can be completed. But I would say that the sales will commence next month.”
Qute is powered by 216cc engine that produces a peak power of 13bhp. The vehicle has a top speed of 70km/h and can seat four passengers, including the driver. The vehicle comes with all the basic features and some extra optional accessories such as an MP3 player.
